Madonna is 14 1/2 now...Merry Christmas to her..she escaped another Coyote or ? attack last week that took Betty...Madonna hid on a patio table behind some pots and didn't go to her coop, so I thought she was gone too..so glad she was safe with the other 4...
What a lovely hen! It is so neat to see a bird that age, as so many people won't keep them past three. (when you think about it, they're really still just teenagers) She's a real tribute to your great care.

was wondering if any1 has some ferted bantam ee eggs or 2 chicks they wouldnt mind parting with lol i have 12 chickens and only want no more then 5 more at this time and hatchires have min. of 25 :eek:  that is way to many chickens for my coop at this point in time.i had only 6 chickens i gand picked they are my pets well hubby and my son came home with 6 more (sons b-day gift) and (eyes shifting and whispers) i dont like 5 of them they are freaks lol so now my coop is half way full i just want to add a couple cuties to my flock with out having to buy 25...

I was thinking about getting a few red leghorn hens to add to my flock of ameraucanas. if I do and I incubate the leghorn eggs, will i get a more beautiful blue egg layer or olive egg layer??
