I have 4 eggs from my OE hen crossed back to a cuckoo marans in the incubator now.

She is not from my eggs, I purchased these two as chicks from a breeder at our local chickenstock. I agree that her coloration is beautiful, it looks like she may have had something with gold lacing in her background.

My girls are spoiled. They won't come out if there snow by the coop, so I have to shovel a path for them and then they come out.

She really blends in with the snow. Except for her black stripes

I hate it when it's this cold. The one day I had 5 that cracked. She is pretty! Where did you get her?

I got her and 4 others from McMurray last August. This is her first egg that I am sure of. I caught her right in the act, but she stood up and the egg dropped right onto a wooden egg in the box. I am excited to see what the remaining two will lay. I have one who lays a mostly blue egg and one who lays a sage green egg as well. I love that all 5 of my EE look different. They will probably be my main focus in the future!

Yes, I love my EE's too. They are my favorite. I thought you meant because of the cold. That's why mine cracked. Can you post pics of your other one?
