Thats true, hens do have more of a "wedge" shape. Did you purposely get roos? What colors are they?

I also have an almost laying age pullet that is white with some red leakage.

And a 2 or 3 year old EE.
Fleur which I am going to use to add mottling to my flock with a Russian orloff rooster because she has a little bit of mottling.

They are all very nice looking birds, but the white/black ones are stunning. For the young man without a name, I would name him Hawk or Hawkeye.

I got them from ideal by the way. You said you liked the whote ones so I figured you want to know where they came from.

They are stunning! The odd thing is my EE's looked the same as chicks but instead of being black and white, they are brown!

Just thought I'd show off some recent pics of my girls. Here's my flock of EE and SLW mixes. They're 23-24 weeks old now.



And look what one of them finally left for me! A nice pretty olive colored egg.



I think it was the girl in the back. She's been squatting for me the last few days and she has the most developed/reddest wattles of the bunch.
