this conversation is so silly. one person is talking color (plain simple basic colors. ) The other is talking reconized color by a breed standard color GENES. Two different things.

Show standards are great if you are in to that. I have to amirer people decaded to show birds.
My EEs chickens Have a job around the ranch and come in many colors (to my delight) To me I love seeing the many color rooster that are developed between to crosses. and guess what color they will grow up to be. blue base, black base, white base with other colors mixed in. just my 2 cents worth.
