this is the prettiest of my ee/ameraucana pullets. she is getting very red-gold in front, i'm so excited to see what her final color looks like! boy they are feisty ones too - first day outside in the run for the chicks with enough feathers to keep warm: 7 ee's that all look pretty much brown (sigh... i guess you have to buy specific colors to get any other colors than brown...) and 5 wyandottes, but only the ee's were brave enough to come outside of the box for the first hour! i couldn't believe it. darn chickens were too chicken to enjoy the outside world.
Here are some of my latest hatch. Dad is my Blue Orp roo, Skyy, and the moms are EE's from a hatchery. I am getting some brown birds, but only keeping the blue ones.
Also hatched out some Blue Slate Turkeys and Barnevelder chicks, but those pics are in other threads
Edited to add that I just saw the pictures of Stormy------OMG! She is BEAUTIFUL!! I WANT her!!! Has she started laying yet? What color are her eggs?

Sending good hatching vibes your way! Can't wait to see your new little fuzzy butts!
I'm at 15 thus far. Half are BSL, but there are Some each of the Amer, EEs and BLRW. I still have 1 egg trying to zip. I'll probably let the bator run through tomorrow.
I'm moving the chicks around today. I'll see if I can get pics taken.

Thanks! I love the coloring on Charlotte too. I have a 9 week old pullet that looks very similar to her. I've been excited about the pullet as the only ones I've had previously in that coloring turned out to be males.
ArizonaDesertChicks, very cool white face & beard on your Blue Wheaten Am. x Blue Ameraucana roo.
Laree, love that 'mottled' blue on Stormy. Very pretty!
Kansaseq - nice looking chicks!

Unfortunately, Stormy is not mine, but Sommers. HOWEVER- I do get first dibs when she is ready to cull--but I am getting a little full up over here.
This is a pic of AZDC's former cockerel--who now belongs to me! (MUAHAHAHHAHAHA!)
I have 6 6week old EE pullets. They came from Whelp Hatchery as Ameraucana but I knew I would be getting ee's Does anyone look like they might be a roo? It would be ok if there is one in the bunch.
