The EE braggers thread!!!

Ruthie I can't tell from your pics, but with EE's you will usually start to notice the males comb as a little more raised and pinker, also thicker legs. Also i have noticed at the age yours are in the pics the males are usually the friendlier . . . that kind of goes in stages. What a nice selection of color yor going to have!

Katythechickenlady.... at what age would a male start to act aggresive? I have an EE roo that is about 6 weeks old and he has always been the easiest in the bunch. I have been hoping that he stays that way other wise I will have to find him a new home:/

I have 16 EE's and EE mixes, 9 weeks old and 5 weeks old. They sure are a myriad of color. My blue 9 week old is getting white lacing on her chest (or him). I have them for sale, now not sure if I want to sell them. Sadly, I have someone coming to look this week. SHe wants a dozen .

Wow, Emjay, I think I'd have to keep some of the more unique colored ones you have there; they are very pretty! Love the black and white ones!

each bird has it's own personality. Breed weighs a lot in that factor but as EE are crosses and you may not know with what that isn't much help. None of mine have ever been agressive, in fact they are even better behaved than the girls. Some tend to get to be a bit of a pain as they come into breeding age, but once they have their own hens they tend to settle down and become gentlemen. If they do become rogue Roos you won't mind getting rid of them

I love me EEs...one is a pain in the butt...spoiled rotten, TV watching, Pizza eating pest. That is my DD's bird, Sandy.

Brats...all of them. I rehomed Draco and Sirius before I moved from Oregon to Kentucky. I miss both of them, even Draco who was a biter. *sigh*
