In this episode, Advanced holding techniques.
Here, Popcorn demonstrates the proper form of a common chicken holding technique on her EE, Buttons, known as the "dangle grip". It is so named by the obvious way the legs and feet of the chicken dangle freely about beneath the hand of the person holding the chicken. The dangle grip is best used on the more docile breeds as it has proven ineffective on the more flighty breeds such as the Leghorn. Many attempts were made to hold a leghorn using the dangle grip technique, but this merely resulted in a plethora of chicken scratches up one side of the arm and down the other and the mildly perturbed, mocking squawks from said leghorn.
Be sure to tune in next thursday when we demonstrate more advanced poultry techniques.
