The EE braggers thread!!!

Can I join this thread????? I have three EE pullets ( one might be a cockerel not sure) and I love all of them they are all beautiful birds and quite friendly. Two will jump up on my shoulders. One actually grabbed an earring out of my ear and ate it.

Is the red on the wings ALWAYS true? I have one hen, ginger who is red and white lace on her front half, but the red gets EXTREMELY dark on the wings, while it's only a light red on the rest of her body, but I know she's a pullet.

more EE chicks! hatched yesterday from morning til evening... my broody bantam can cover 5 LF eggs, one broke during the first week, one was rejected about day 16, but she's 3 for 3 on the remaining. all are from the same EE sire, one chick is BR x (cream egg), one is BSL x (brown speckled egg), and one is EE x (blue egg) AND... my sweet broody laid an egg of her own already.
That is so sweet! What a good mama :)

Ok here are some pictures of my three birds. They are 10 weeks old today!!
She is the one that ate my earring. Same bird. This is my second EE. I can't tell if it's a boy or girl. But he/she has really pretty feathering. And this is my third EE.

I've been anxiously awaiting eggs from my OE pullet who's about 7 months old. I noticed she was starting to squat this week, so I have been keeping a close eye on her. She finally laid her first egg today - it isn't olive, but is a beautiful turquoise color. So I guess she can join the EE ranks :)

I hatched her out from some BCM x EE hatching eggs I got from a forum member.

Her egg between my wheaten marans and lakenvelder eggs, it's a really pretty shade of blue!
