Robin ~ one of my spring EE hens. She lays a lovely green egg.

She is beautiful. That is about as close to the Silver pattern as I have seen - and I LOVE that pattern in the girls!

Thanks ~ she was a feed store chick from Mt Healthy hatchery. I picked her out as she had a different looking darker chipmunk pattern than the rest. I also picked a yellow one, which turned out to be solid white.

Hello all i'm new to chickens this year and easter eggers. I bought a blue ameraucana rooster and put him over my red sexlinks, a white leghorn, a golden comet, and a light Sussex. These are about 2 months old i think, and sadly I think most will be roos for my first hatch. How old to tell normaly when an EE will be a roo or hen. Pea comb and beard/muffs so far making harder that and it seems all have some sorta pink in comb no red yet though. Anyways here's some pics of my first hatch second hatch only 3 weeks old so no pics yet.

they come in all different color combos. Some try and come up with names for the colors but they really do not come in certsin varities they arctually arent even a breed

These are my pullets They are EEs though non traditional. I posted about them awhile back. This cross will not have a beard of muffs, instead they have a head crest and feathered legs but should lay green eggs. They are also Sexlinks.

They are 11weeks old
