Yes. And crossed to a dark brown egg layer (your Welsummer boy) you make Olive Eggers (darker green). You can use any breed that has the blue egg gene to make Easter Eggers, and some don't even have the blue egg gene but they are still called Easter Eggers. Just think - colored eggs and not brown or white - that's an EE.
Usually they also have dark legs and beards/muffs - but that isn't necessary either. Pea combs too - but with the Isbar they don't need that either...
