This is my only bearded EE girl, Singleton. So named because of all the eggs her mum was sitting on, she was the only one to hatch. I have 5 others in various colors, all lay blue/green eggs, and the other 5 are all clean faced.
I live in New Zealand, and here we have what we call araucanas, but they are not the true araucana, in type, they are very similar to the ameraucana. Judging from the body type of my wee bantam girls, they are a mix of mostly pekin, but with some nz araucana in their lineage somewhere. Interestingly enough, none of them have proper pea combs, they all have some variation on a rose comb. The photos are a few months old, and Singleton's comb has since grown a little more, and developed a bit of a wave and wiggle to it.
