Well, my EE that I tried caging didn't break like I thought. When I let her out, she went straight back to the nest. Ba thing is, I keep finding her in different nest boxes! My D'uccle eggs I ordered her r supposed to be shipped this week sometime, but now I'm not sure I want to give them to her, since she keeps switching around. Lol

When I have let my broody hatch eggs I have given her her own broody coop so that there is no chance she will go to the wrong place. The other option is to incubate eggs and swap the chicks in under the broody after they hatch.

That why I had her caged seperatly. I wasn't trying to break her, just trying to get her to brood where I wanted her to. She wasn't having it though. Lol I guess I'll have to maneuver some kind of door to put infront of her nesting area, and just block her where she is until they hatch. I've unplugged the bator for the season & promised not to turn it back on until February. Lol Its HARD!!!
