The EE braggers thread!!!

Pretty girls, the first one is so pretty with her black feathers around her head.
So pretty and love the coloring.
Lol, here is a shot of Little One, everytime I got out to take pics she starts pecking me and trying to get me pay attention to her. She jumps on my lap, back and shoulders when I am crouched down trying to get a good shot of the gang. I guess it is because I hand fed her the day after arrival as she was not doing well and we thought she wouldn't survive. She is the friendliest out of our whole flock.

That rooster is a " this us what I was told anyway" a Red Shouldred Silver Duckwing.

Had one that looked just like him. He was the meanest rooster that I've eve had. He only tried to jump me once, when I got through with him he didn't want anymore if me. I never even touched him.
The reason I got rid if him though I caught him raping one of my hens. I lost they hen a couple of days later.

No crowing yet from this one, but I'm about 99% sure it's a rooster based on what I do know about this breed. He turned 10 weeks old today!
I'm not an expert, very much a novice, but my EE hens never had that pink of a comb at that young of an age. If I were to guess I would say boy, but don't take my word for it, lol. Oh by the way, love his colors.

I have one that is seven months old that has never laid an egg. I hoping that when she starts then she'll be an almost every day layer.

This is her.

My marans hen finally started laying about a week ago... at 40 week old! They are all on their own schedules. I have one backyard mix from my august hatch that looks like she could start laying any day... but the pullets from my July hatch look like they are still weeks or months from laying.
