Thanks Jerry for always providing us with an education in genetics,Pale ear lobes are common with EE and Ameraucana . There are a few breeds where the ear lobe color does not work .New Holland have red lobes and lay white eggs . Penedencena have white ear lobes I believe and lay dark brown eggs .
thanks that is what I figured, but got confused with the leg coloring and assumed since her legs are more slate in color and she lays pale blue eggs, that she might be an Ameracauna. That thought quickly went away after I looked at Meyer's website and saw they only have the Blue Ameraucana's.X2. COchix, if you got Isis from Meyer hatchery then she is an EE. EE's (since they are basically "mutt'' birds) have a wide range of leg coloring, varying from Different shades of green, to blue, some can even have yellow legs or yellow tinted with blue.
cutie
