I bought some hatching eggs on ebay last spring and she and two other very affectionate EE's now compete for snuggling.

I do have the most wonderful EEer named Lucy. But are we in trouble. Today she layer her second egg within an egg. It was huge. She was walking painfully and I brought her in to soak her bottom in warm water. Then closed her in the coop by herself. She layed the huge egg within 15 min.
