got my FIRST egg from my first batch of babies born in March and April, not sure which girl it is yet.

But, the egg is a pretty blue !!!!!!

This is my sweet little EE. Her name is Dotty (at least I hope she is a she as I can't have roosters in the city limits). She is about 9 weeks old and has such a sweet personality.

Katie Pigtails, your EEs look the most like mine that I have seen. What do you call that color pattern?

My hubby bought me "Ameracaunas" as a gift and I could see right away they were not the right coloration. I also have one that is kind of flan-colored with a little darkening near the tail, she is very pretty but mostly white. She was with them but looks different, supposedly they were purchased from a hatchery as Ameraucanas. Do you know more about what cross yours are, Katie? I would guess mine are the same and possibly the same hatchery. I think yours are just a little more mature though, mine are only three months.

This little girl is out of my Del rooster and my blue barred EE, Riley. Isn't she cute? Ellie in California owns her. She's got lacing and barring and who knows what in that allover pattern of hers.

Savingdogs - I have no idea what color pattern or cross she is but it sure is pretty. Someone had suggested she might be a Welsummer cross but I don't really know. I bought mine at a feed store in Portland as an Ameracauna but quickly learned that I have an EE. She is actually a little young then your girls. She is 9 weeks old but she has grown way bigger then the other babies I bought at the same time. For awhile I was afraid that there was something wrong with my other girls but I think it's just that my EE is going to be a big girl!
