The EE braggers thread!!!

Your girls are so pretty, and Reuben looks a lot like my Oreo. Mine are quite a bit younger they will be 8 wks tomorrow. I plan on taking pics either tomorrow or Tues depending on which day is prettier and will post them. You have several color combo's that I don't right now at least.

I didn't know there was an EE thread! I have one EE pullet (still un-named) and 4 chicks although 2 of them look like pure ameraucana. The lady I got them from has pures, but I don't believe they are seperate this time of year. The bunch the pullet is from was ALL roo's but her. I keep trying out names on her, but none of them seem to stick.

Here is my favorite out of the current chicks - pretty sure it's a roo though, he's got some red on his shoulders. His name is Pepper.

This is the un-named pullet.

I have a white one like yours too. Her name is Snow. I'm posting a picture of one of my Auburn gals. I have six of them. This is Hazel. She is the one I expect eggs from soon. Her comb is the reddest.

I wish I could get them all to stand still long enough for a solo portrait. I have 23 EE pullets, and 22 EE roos. I posted a pic of Rueben, but I have one cross beaked roo named Edward Scissor Beak - and one Gold Star who is the sole survivor of a coyote or coon problem. She is older and gives me my only egg a day. Still waiting on these EEs.

I used to have an EE named Bubby - she was one of my favorite birds and one of my original birds. She died this summer from something unknown - possibly the heat. I have two daughters from her but they are olive eggers. One has her sea-foam green eyes, which I could pass that gene on

The "white" one I have actually has a pale blue beard and her chest is somewhat golden.

I am enjoying the super pictures from plant mgr (who finally got it) and the fun stories. I have just one EE but by spring hope to have more from my very diverse flock. That is if one of me hens becomes a broody.

glad you are enjoying the pics! i'm so excited that I can finally post some! i've been looking at everyone else's for so long wishing I could share also. I'm still planning on making them all pose individually

soon!

I lucked out this morning with these silly chickens. I went out to leave for work and three of my chickens were walking around the driveway! I shut them all in at night because we have predator palooza around here (hence the coyote coon problem mentioned earlier). These gals must have perched somewhere hidden last night and I didn't know it. They are still all here, but I'm going to have to count them now with a flash light when I shut them in or they will be coyote chow.
