The EE braggers thread!!!

I've finally gotten a pen of good EE birds that I can start a breeding program with. Here are some pics of my rooster, and his 3 hens.

My egg from this pen is on the far right.

Just to share, here's a picture of one of my EEs at 5 days old (taken yesterday). This was my very first chick when I woke up to peeping in the 'bator on the morning of day 20.

All of the EEs are getting puffy little cheeks and the beginnings of beards.

I have a question -
I have never had any EE's, ameracauna's etc..
and had some EE eggs sent to me as extra's in swap I made.
I had a person come by to purchase some silkies and they mentioned
that EE's born with a straight comb only lay brown eggs?
is this true?

I was told i had a drop dead gorgeous EE Rooster i should brag about and thought i would share on here i love my lilttle guy and hope to make beautiful chicks someday. I caught him trying to crow this morning and got him on video, so i kno hes a boy for sure now:) im working hard on getting better shots but he doesnt like me tring sometimes silly camera shy fella

GotChicken? :

These are my TSC Easter Eggers at approximately 2 months. I posted the chick pictures before, but I'll post them again for those who like the before and after visuals to see how chicks that look the same don't feather the same and vice versa:

I love how Raptor, Fuzz, and Auric look exactly alike now, but looked nothing alike as chicks!

Question..... at what age can you tell whether or not they are a hen or roo? Is it all by coloring or can you tell by the comb at an early age?

Here's my EE girl... Very quirky and seems to be the dominate pullet right now... Besides my Buff Brahma, she is definitely the prettiest....
