The EE braggers thread!!!

I knew they were laying! Just KNEW IT!! The BlkCopper cross has had "bloomers" for the last couple of weeks. They got left in the small pen for a good part of the day because I wasn't feeling well and didn't go out to let them out.

They were suppose to be blue but these one are a light olive green and copper color.

I've GOT TO get the other tractor built so I can split them up. Painted the "coop" section yesterday, but it rained before it was completely dry and now it's got bubbles all over it.

Those are 2 cute little EE's, did you keep Nora or did you find her a new home. I know you where looking for a new home but she went broody on you did you end up keeping her. How is Tiny doing now?

I have three EE. We have a white one named Banana. My daughter named her as a chick because she was so yellow. We also have Thelma & Louise. Thelma & Banana are both pretty friendly. They will jump into my lap for treats. Louise has only jumped up once or twice. She'd rather not be touched. I think our EE's are very pretty birds, especially Banana. Her white is so white and her tufts on her cheeks make her look so fluffy. My girls are only 11 weeks old, so I can't wait to see how they look once they're all grown up!

Cute, but how are they differant?

The chipmonk ones are one quarter Wyandotte, half EE, and the rest is NH, RIR, and BR. They are the result of four generations of selective breeding. The yellow one is half Silkie, one quarter EE, and one quarter Buff Orpington.

It will be cool to see what they grow up to be.
