We have a surprise EE roo that we will keep. My question is what should we expect for chicks when he mates our Cinnamon Queens?

I posted pics of my girls in #4522 in this thread. There are 4 EE's there. They started out all different colors and the picture is at about 11 weeks or so.

Thanks, I checked it out and saved it so I can look through all the pages over time! Already saw a few that look like mine. I just don't want a whole set of hens that look the same, though I think I have at least one roo in my 5 EEs.

I am reposting this on the EE thread.... I am sure these are more of EE type chickens than "Ameraucana" types......and it was suggested I try this thread to get some responses to my pretty feathered friends.
Here is a pic of my two "Ameraucana" I bought from the feed store.

I am pretty sure they aren't really Ameraucanas but they sure have some of the traits I have noticed people talking about. What do you guys think?

I think the Ameraucana club is still pretty new compared to some other breeds so they are very fussy about anything other than the show standards being called "ameraucana". They have done a lot of work to get the breed straightened out. But that does not make your birds anything less than simply beautiful!
