He is at the bottom of the pecking order and still very young but my guess is he will be a close twin to yours. Mine came from a local hatchery and was given to me when he turned into a roo.

I think they are awesome looking yard candy!

I love all these multicolored boys! THanks for the tip--I'll try Acechix.

It is the opposite here in Death Valley local. The temperature my be hot but the humuidty likes to stay around 10% in the middle of the day. If it goes much higher say like 13% the local complain that it is HUMID. I am from back east so I laugh. I do not like the summers here but I could not live in the humid air of anywhere east of the Rocky Mountains. However I would like to live at about 5000 feet elevation since it is cooler up there. It is wounderful how the chickens out here adapt. I stay away from the big heavy breeds though. I do have one Wellsummer but she is from Texas as a chick and does tolerate the dryness.

Everybody's EEs are so pretty. So far I have only one and I love her. But next year I will have more since I have a beautiful white Ameraucana rooster.

featherz Is the hen to the left of the pretty rooster a Sussex or an EE ?

I'm at 2000 ft and it's highly unusual for it to be like this for more than a couple days all summer long, but it's been this way for two solid months. I'm thoroughly melted. I've lived in Utah (twice) and Colorado and I loved the low humidity. My birds are not happy with this weather at all.
