This is Aphrodite, my EE that I thought was a wyandotte but apparently isnt becasue her leg coloring is different and she lays green eggs.

And this is C.C (short for chubby cheeks) she lays blue eggs and unfortunately gets picked on so that's why her tail is so bad.

Hi! I have 2 Easter Eggers: Mildred and Loudred (she was named first, she is quite vocal!). Mildred laid her first egg yesterday, and today's is just as beautiful! The others are from my BR hen and Star red pullets.

I took a close up of her back. I am just fascinated by the beautiful coloring. She looks like a tapestry!

I also have a baby Americana/Orphinton cross that probably won't lay until next year. Will they be as colored as the EE's? I love the pics here, and I can't wait to see what Loudred has in store for us!

I think these girls are 16 weeks or so. We got them at about 5 weeks to replace 2 Reds that were taken by a raccoon.
