I have my first EE chick. Yep Cinnimon (partridge silkie rooster) has a huge crush on my BW/W Ameraucana girls. He goes totally gaga over them like a young cockeral that has just discovered his hormones; however, he is well behaved with his silkie girls. Well, I know have his love child from one of his lady crushes....she is an adorable baby girl (hoping she is a girl)
She is 1 week old and already has wing feathers and a few tiny tail feathers. She has her daddies feathered legs, a green beak, and dark skin.
I think it will be cool watching her grow. She is very sweet natured with the new chicks I put in the group. She was mimicing momma in feeding the new chicks. (Blueberry is the suraget mom that hatched her out)
Thanks for the absolutely wonderful pictures and the description and pictures of the eggs. This is truly fascinating! I never dreamed that raising chickens would be so exciting.
