If that's your only hen i'd invest in a saddle quickly! I tried that and got a balded girl!!! They loved each other and she cried when i tried to seperate.... She still beats up any other girls he gets on, so i wonder about them "needing" more than one mate.... Now HE on the other hand will hang with all the girls! Men!

But seriously i would get one quick cause once they start losing the feathers they go quick and won't grow back until the yearly molt....

actually, this little guy's dad has 15 hens, half of them are EE's, then we have his sister and him; then we have the banty gang - cochins and silkies; but don't know if the main rooster would appreciate junior...

so we have the big flock, and a banty run and a silky run and a..... wellll...you know chicken math....
