And yes, he looks like a fine example of an EE.

the comb is right
the coloring is good (wheaten? which I just love)
the posture and the arch of his neck are right for an EE
 
One of my EE's has gone broody and boy is she mean: she growls at any chicken that comes near her and she was pecking at me when I tried to see how many eggs she had! Now I just need to mark those eggs and let her cook'em! LOL!!

No beard, muff-free, pea comb and doesn't even really look like a typical EE, but she lays very pretty green eggs.

I got my first EE eggs today and yesterday 1 green and one blue!!Totally not expecting blue from hatchery EEs. I'm surprised at how big they are my other hens first eggs have been small!

Janis is the lighter one, darker is Honey
