My babies hatched on saturday, they were part of the Easter Hatch-along!I had 3 EE over EE Chicks but only one of them is dark with the biggest cheeks muffs!
I will update the pics of the others as soon as I figure out which ones are the EE over EE and the EE over Speckled sussex chicks! They look a lot alike except some are brownish chipmunks, eyeliner & pink feet and some are whitish chipmunks with Purplish feet. I watched the 3 hatch out of My EE gals green eggs but i didn't sit by the bator to watch them dry. They all have the same daddy so even the speck crosses are EE's. I will get pictures of all and post all babies from this hatch as they all have an EE Daddy if everybody doesn't mind?
But for now here is the chocolate colored EE Chick!
And my first boy out of my EE over barred Rock chicks, 1 boy out of 9 sex-link chicks.

Not a bad ratio considering the rooster to hen ratio. Are you planning to harvest the extra males ? harvest = processing = good but not easy food
