The EggCam -- TAKE A LOOK - live monitoring!

Okay, more drama... earlier, the kids WERE at lunch, but when I went by to check on things at around 12:45, they told me that the electricity went out for 30 minutes!!! Hopefully, my baby is okay!

The way I set it up was by getting a cheap (pardon the pun) webpage set up through Yahoo! Geocities, and I used the software that came with my Creative Webcam to set up "Remote Monitoring" at a refresh rate of 15 seconds. It was really easy, and it makes the evenings oh-so-much more fun!

Are y'all really seeing cracks?! I've never seen an egg hatch, either, and I can't see anything going on yet. If anyone is having trouble viewing the webcam, just hit refresh on your browser and it should come up.

Wish us continued luck - end of day 22 is tonight!

Oh! This is so exciting. What an awesome idea. I haven't actually seen a hatching as it happens since the 7th grade!

Now, this could just be my computer, so don't get excited. But I see a little something going on in the middle of the egg when I push my laptop screen back so the contrast is really bright. It's a little off center, more toward the right of the egg, and is a bit lighter than the rest of the egg, with what looks like (but again, could be nothing) defined crackage around it. Anyone else seeing what I am?

I thought I saw them but maybe it was glare. Argh. Sorry! It just looked like faint crack lines.

Maybe my brain is just teasing me.

No, if it was 24, the egg would be whispering "There's not much time." LOL
