I’m hoping for a cold-hardy breed so there’s a chance we can keep it! A roo will be kept unless it is mean. Lol
Cold hardy breeds, also include Spitzhaubens, my favorite breed. Ok, I will guess the 5 you will order, and the mystery chick. I think the mystery chick will be an amerauca. I know someone here on BYC got a Spitzhauben but that is probably very rare. I say the 5 you are going to get will be : Buff orpington, Barred rock, Jersey Giants, Cochins, and an English game (I know you aren’t probably going to get an English game, but who knows?)I would LOVE you to guess!
They told us the mystery chick is chosen straight run random…lol. But not sure I believe that!
But being home to take care of them all summer is so much easier! It would be so hard to leave for work when they are babies so I can enjoy them all day this way!
