How much ventilation do you have?

Infectious Bronchitis is a respiratory illness where the symptoms seem to be more noticeable/worse at night, so that's a possibility.

It's really hard to know unless you have some testing done.  So many things can cause respiratory symptoms.  Symptoms noticed at night and in the morning if they are in a coop, could be environment or respiratory illness.   Have you changed the bedding recently (dust) or closed more windows/vents than you normally do?

Mine sleep inside next to my bed lol so they go in and out of the kitchen when they want. Which they do only when they want a treat. So I have no idea what happened. I am on stealth mode any noise I hear I am thinking my silkie sneezed lol.
So if I understand don't give anything unless I start seeing signs?
I have been putting that Rx stuff that is like Vicks on the towel just under her and under her wings and it seems to help at night. I had taken frizzle into the vet one time Just for a chk up and I asked him about it what it was and he told me it does nothing because chickens don't have some type of membrane in the nose like we do. But I beg to differ it sure helped and glade i bought it for no apparent reason at the time lol.

How do I give my hen tetracycline I mix it up then what leave it out and let her drink as much as she wants or what? I am so frustrated I see dosages but then what? I am doing this to prevent her from catching a respiratory problem from other hen I only have two and the one had been given a shot from a breeder I know and it helped her so much it has been 4th day and she still sneezing in morning only and a little rattle in breathing but she is eating and drinking. So please hiw do you administer the mix
Exactly which tetracycline do you have?
If you have Duramycin 10 or TerraVet 10 the dose is 1.5 tablespoons per gallon, which is about 1 & 1/8 teaspoon per quart.

Does that help?

If you have oxytetracyline the amount is different.

Math confirmed. The Duramycin 10 and TerraVet 10 max dose is 1 & 1/8 teaspoon per quart. Also confirmed by weighing the powder.

If she were mine, I would not administer antibiotics prophylactically - meaning I would wait to see if any she presents with any symptoms. That's just my personal opinion

I don't see anything wrong with the VetRx. I have not used it, but have read some positive things about it. If it seems to be giving relief at night, I would continue to use it as necessary.

Keeping them inside...well, environmental most likely is not the cause of illness unless something like cleaning products/air fresheners, etc. aggravated her.

What symptoms did she originally present with?

I agree, treat only if there are symptoms of respiratory disease, like congestion, rales, drainage from eyes or nares, mucus in mouth, constant sneezing, open mouth breathing, etc.

I would not treat the occasional sneeze.

It might be close enough. I think I would add a little more.

Thank you ya I went ahead because yes a lot of open mouth breathing I couldn't figure out why she had been panting now I know because it had not been hot and her friend was sick with it.

Is she panting or open mouth breathing, there is a huge difference.
