The EMERGENCY Thread!!!

Here's photos. He's getting worse. Is there anything more or better I can do for him? The lump is effecting his eye more, and he's sometimes closing it. Seems the lump is moving upwards. Originally started low on his waddle. It is a very hard lump. (Between the purple hole - where I cut away the black scab - and his beak. The lump is directly under his beak now).

Your help is greatly appreciated. This boy is about 5 years old and was my alpha rooster until demoted by the fight that caused this.

I have a VERY perplexing emergency!!!!!
Yesterday, my silkie, Stella acted VERY differently than her normal self; she sat on the ground, tail down the WHOLE day! She will eat and drink. She doesn't feel any thinner than before. Yesterday I gave her some electrolytes, I don't think it helped. She hasn't started to lay yet. Her and my other silkie, Evie live in a small chicken tractor in my yard. I keep it clean, in fact I was cleaning it yesterday when I noticed Stella. I have 4 other chickens who live in the "big coop". My chickens have NEVER displayed signs like this. She hasn't been pooping very often, but when she does, it is normal. I don't know what's wrong! Please help!!!!!!

How old is she? Are any others showing symptoms? Where are you located? Has the weather changed? Or has it been very rainy recently?

My rooster is worse today. Can someone please advise me should I continue giving him penicillin or stop? He's had just one dose so far. I now wonder if it's inflammatory edema?? I cannot take him to a vet.....BYC has to be my vet.
this is not my forte but if it were me i would continue with the medicine for at least a week
can you try cleaning his wattle, maybe make a tincture or try to soak with warm epsom salts in cotton balls? the epsom salts help to reduce inflammation and help to draw out infections

good luck, sorry i cant be more help!!
