What about a forum called HOW TO? And talk about HOW TO put together a 1st aide kit and a small list of what goes in it. HOW TO build a small wooden pop door. HOW TO build a small tractor. Etc etc etc. You don't have to go into great detail but general instructions to help people get started. WELL COME TO THINK OF IT. THIS WHOLE SITE IS HOW TO. Thank you all. I appreciate all your hard work and help.

I definitely understand what you're saying, but yeah, whenever we have general (not topic specific) sections, then people don't know where to post stuff. So would "HOW TO build a small tractor" go in the coops section or the "How to" section? The original site had something like this and it confused people where to go to post stuff and visitors to know where to find stuff. One thing members could do is use the words "How To" in their thread titles... that would be very helpful!

We tried live chat before, but

1) It was a moderation nightmare
2) It goes against our objective to make information publicly searchable and easily accessible for people on an ongoing basis.
