WindHowl stood up and wrapped her long talons around Russet's neck, digging into her throat. The rooster struggled against the leader's grip and kicked her in the face, determined not to give up the fight. Rooster #2 rolled on top of BumbleStripe, pinning him down and slashing a hole in his stomach.

Bumbledstipe, flipped his body sideways, contining to roll with the rooster until he was on top. "Blueheart!" He shouted to his former apprentice while holding the struggling rooster down. The agile blue hen raced over and each warrior grabbed a wing, jerking them outwards until each was dislocated and barely attached to his body.

Russetstar fought through the pain, keeping a firm grip on the roosters neck.

Snowsong watched in the trees with a third battle patrol, seeing that they were needed, he yowled a battle cry and leapt into the fray along with his patrol members.
