Found a family photo of the Fullers. The little curly-headed blonde boy in the bottom, center is Bobby Fuller. My younger son's hair looked just like that as a child. It's still wildly curly, but of course, my husband's mother had super kinky-curly hair, too, so could have come from her as well. At the top back is Jennie and her husband, William Otis Fuller. Not all the siblings are here in this photo. There is a Freddy and Jeanette as well, big family.

Boy, Bobby's dad was very handsome!

The only family portrait we ever took. My Chris and his wild curls, which were semi-tame for the picture at 3 years old.

According to my friend, Ellie, who accidentally found out that her father was not her father by doing DNA through another service (her mother still swears she doesn't remember, lol, long story, but no question about it), HeritageDNA is too new with too few on record. If I do another through Ancestry.com, I get a much better chance of finding what I want to know. All the matches they gave me are no closer than 4th cousins so far.

Why do they all look like Glamour Shots? It was a softer time, I guess. Reality took a back seat to beauty and mystery.

Yes people were much more well dressed and better put together than we seem to be nowadays. You have to be pretty substantially well-off and able to afford to spend that kind of time and money on the stuff that it takes to keep you looking like a movie star. And quite honestly, I don't mind looking like a farm girl.

Yeah, you don't want to see my fingernails or toenails. I've never had a mani-pedi and never will. I tried on occasion to do it myself, but it was just in the way and I never kept it up. Can't do chores and have your fingernails stay in any kind of shape. My biological family was fairly well-to-do, lived in Coral Gables, which was considered sort of high-end. They were in the funeral home business, a business I have my issues with. I think they take terrible advantage of people, even the so-called reputable ones.

ETA: High today 70*. Raining. High tomorrow 57* cloudy. Tomorrow I have to go for the prep for my 4 part bridge and Tom gets his three crowns seated so we'll be gone until afternoon.

I was never as thin as my mother. I was close once in college, but not for long. But, her family life makes me think a lot of hers was just stress. What is so sad is that I found two arrest records for her when she was married to the King guy in 1974 and 1975 for disorderly intoxication. She was wandering the streets drunk and I guess got into some altercation with someone. Poor June. Bobby's sister said they'd seen her staggering down the streets more than once and felt so bad for her.
