The Evolution of Atlas: A Breeding (and Chat) Thread

Kara, I find it very hard to believe that you are the mother of 8 kids!! You look like a teenager!! :th

Cyn, that sofa sure looks comfortable! Something I need desperately too. Your house looks so nice and "homey"

Thank you! I made my husband a cover for the stool he props his feet on when he's at his computer. It's basically like one of the cat beds, but turns down rather than up.

I try to avoid getting into anything political, religious, or other heated topics on FB. It brings out the worst in people. I block or unfollow people who are constantly posting drama, I don’t need it!

Thought you’d like this shirt my husband got me for Christmas. :) I told him I wanted a cute chicken shirt. He gave me a weird look but got me one anyway lol.

I LOVE that shirt!!!

And to the others that asked if you were sure that you're the mom and not one of the kids.... That just tells us how OLD we are when everyone under the age of 50 looks like a kid!!!!!!!!

RE Facebook...
I quit actively using it a couple of years ago. I do have it, just don't use it. But I do think I should check in a little more often because in my group of friends, I find out how folks are doing and if they have any needs that I may be able to help with. Because I've "laid low" for so long, it won't even send me notifications anymore even though I have it set for them. I did have a much better idea of what was happening in folks lives when I was on more often.

I found this poultry probiotic on Walmart.com, a 2 lb tub, 150 scoops/servings (supposed to put one scoop in a one gallon water0. It was $14.99 and I was getting a grafting tool for my husband so I put that in the cart as well. I don't know if this is a good product or not, but this has to have more oomph than just plain yogurt. I dissolved a scoop in about a 1/2 c water, crumbled a big tray of Mexican cornbread I made yesterday for our chili-that was really good, that recipe, though I tweaked it-and poured the probiotic mixture over the cornbread. I divided it between the Brahmas and the group where Lizzie is because of her very wet poop. If this cures Lizzie's poop, I'll keep buying it. Can't hurt Bailey and Betsy, either, after their crop issues, I'd say.
