Finally, finally! Someone is coming to get all this junk today. We probably have another full load when you consider the stand-up crawlspace that is about 10' wide and goes the full length of the house, but this is major progress!

That's a lot of stuff. I like getting rid of stuff almost as much as I like getting stuff so I stay about even here.

Oh I missed that. That should be a keeper.

The wagon is completely rusted through the bottom, not a keeper. And the trash is all still here. The first guy was supposed to come on Tuesday, was going to charge $130 for a load, but he stopped replying to PMs. Then, another guy Tom contacted quoted half that amount and was supposed to come yesterday. He sent a message about 10:30 a.m., said the first job took longer than expected, but he was on his way. Hours later when he hadn't showed up, Tom PM'd him, someone saw the message, but didn't respond. Later on, we tried again and nothing. So, that's two strikeouts.
A woman said to call her, that she always shows up, showed how large her pickup truck was, asked if Saturday was okay and quoted a price half of the second guy's. That is really too low and we'd give her more than that, worth every penny to have all this pile gone, which has grown since I took the picture I posted here.
The guys who came to do the yard work were the best we've ever had. Showed up on time, did the job right, were excellent. If only it was always like that, sigh.

Yea! I have a few more things to add to mine and I will be calling someone to take my pile!

One thing always leads to another. I decided to replace the toilet and sink in the upstairs bathroom that is really small and has slanted ceilings . Then I am thinking I might as well do the floor. Let's throw in the walls that have several layers of really old wall paper and fix the walls nice. Oh lets throw in the walls of one bedroom that need replacing or repair. If doing one room, might as well do the other. Sheesh, hopefully I'll find someone!
