I did it more to relax than to actually eat. Tom ate a big piece with ice cold strawberries and bananas topped with whipped cream. I ate a tiny sliver, but I can't eat many baked goods anymore. Doesn't sit well on my stomach. I can't do keto. Used to lose weight on Atkins and before that, Dr. Stillwell, the Atkins precursor guy, back in my 20's and 30's, but after my thyroid malfunctioned, it doesn't even work for me and I hate eating mostly protein anyway. My inclination if I have only protein to eat is just not to eat at all. I start to gag, LOL.

My next bag will be a larger version of the last one in rooster fabric. This fabric bears likenesses of Isaac and his sons, Rex and Deacon. It's like someone spied on my barnyard to create it. Their likenesses are circled in the picture. View attachment 2178454

Unlike some people, I have been constructive today. I finished a tote bag *and* made a lemon pound cake using 5 of our fresh Brahma eggs. It's cooling so it can be turned out of the pan. Hope she comes out okay! Who likes the crusty edges?? YUM! Haven't made a pound cake in years and this is my best recipe. @Cetawin and @wekiva bird both love this cake. View attachment 2177252

Looks good. Check the law in your county about admissibility for legal purposes. Here, law enforcement can use home surveillance as evidence, IF they are the ones to copy it off the recorder. If I make a copy of the recording, they can't prove it hasn't been tampered with, so it's not admissible in court, or for legal purposes. That being said, there is no problem with getting them to come make a copy of a recording capturing illegal activity.

Nope. I use stretchy headbands if I need one, but I haven't left my property in months. I am not sure I could wear a mask everywhere. I hate to have my face covered even by bedding. Honestly, I don't see why the entire country is not wide open, considering how they are rioting in the streets 6" apart, not 6'. Good grief.

I have a padlock on my pen. I'm adding one of those low watt light bulb, too.
Have been busy. Got most of my plants in, plus rose bushes! Love them. 2 of my chickens got out yesterday and ate all the flowers on my tomato plant! Do you think it will grow more? Lots of eating veggies soon!

Well, Maddie is on my crap list. She isn't like Jane and very willing to let me pick her up easily all the time. She was being a bad girl running from me, I reached for her, she zipped away and I tripped over the roll up door threshold, falling into the barn, twisting my bad ankle and hitting both knees, even the one that has been hurting for awhile now. Grrrr. Ice packs on both knees right now. Why, oh why?????

it's actually a good idea to trim tomato plants back a little bit, they grow more dense and will develop plenty more fruit, it's just going to take some time.
One of my dogs would pick tomatoes and eat them once they had ripened if I didn't get to them first. I had to fence my garden to keep the dog out instead of rabbits.
