Four days and a wake up until my chicks get here. I was thinking today that the sweet little things haven't even been hatched yet. They have no idea what they are getting themselves into.

I got my chick babies in today! They came from Mcmuuray's. They threw in one extra free SLW male and a couple male red stars on top of my order and free rare chick. I found 3 dead babies in the box. One had a pastey butt, one was a runt, and one was pecked. The rest are lively, eating, drinking, pooping, flying, and happy. So far so good. I think the ones I lost were two cornish x and a buffie.

I gave them grow gel, quik chick, nutri-drench, and sugar water. I will try to get more pics and an update soon! I'm so excited. They're so fun to watch and they relax me! I love it!

Aww they are adorable ohiochick2013! Sorry you lost three... I only ordered 10, so I really hope I don't lose any. Shouldn't be too much of a problem, because Meyer Hatchery is only 4 and a half hours away from me.

I wonder if some of my deaths weren't a bit of natural causes bc of how they died. Mine came all the way from Iowa too though. I'm sure yours will be great!
