It's getting close now! Monday my chicks are being mailed out. My brooder is ready, has been since last week, and now I'm just trying to pass the time.

I wanted to order from there cause of the sexed bantams but 8 was a bit much so we went with Meyer. Our order was originally placed for 4 now about 6-7 weeks later its up to 6 soon to be 7 maybe 8 on mon. We should have just went with mpc & we could have gotten more silkies

Lol isn't that the truth!! I started out not wanting any chickens to finally giving in and 3 months later we have 4 with 8 chicks and 3 ducks coming in aug and next year we are gonna try and hatch a few eggs. And if I don't stop looking at byc and Meyer I'm gonna have 50 chicks and ducks before I know it! Gotta love chicken math!

We put an addition on the run and coop after I ordered the chicks and now every time I go outside I'm thinking about how much bigger it needs to be to get a few more. That crazy chicken math!

My chicks are on their way to me! I called mypetchicken just a little bit ago and they gave me a tracking #. Of course, there is no information yet.

Please let us know how your delivery goes from My Pet Chickens. My hatching date from MPC is June 24th so I am curious how they are. I am so excited to get mine especially after reading how well everyone else's deliveries are going!
