I remember now that you mentioned the "meal maker"! I wonder what she is!!!

Compare her cheeks with your other EE. They have "fat faces" hence our EE's name: Fat Face.

I will have to do that for sure. She SHOULD be an EE if Meyer filled my order correctly since I'm pretty sure I have triplet BRs.

We will have a photoshoot tomorrow and maybe will band the legs of the BRs as they are tougher to tell apart and will do a cheek comparison!

I'm not sure of Meyer's definition of "meal maker" but BRs are a dual purpose bird so maybe they just had extra BRs hatch that day and it qualified as a meal maker.

Can't wait to see the photos tomorrow!

oh they are so gourgeous i only have 2 chicks but in 2-3 weeks my broodys eggs will have hatched and could have 23 fluff balls!!! ill post some pics of chicks!!!

The postal sorting facility called at 7 a.m!!! I had 17 chicks jumping out of the box. Not sure what breed the extras are because they won't sit still. Maybe once they settle down. They are so cute. I can't figure out how to post a picture on mobile.

Hope those who were expecting had good days today

Our 7 here are so far so good. 6/7 are super active, one is a little quieter and slower, but still doing all the necessary chick things of eating, drinking, and pooping. We fed some plain yogurt today with their feed which did not go over well at first, but as the mix dried a bit they gave it more of a chance. Left it in for an hour and hopefully everyone picked enough to get some benefits and then gave them back their regular feed.

Very happy with them so far- they are great fun! We are going to name one a day and have named one today and will try to do her photoshoot in the morning.

Chicks can be so picky! Haha. They will get the hang if trying new things once the associate your hand with delicious treats!

Good luck with your quiet chick! All my new babes are acting normal, but one of my older ones is suddenly acting quiet and sleeping a lot. But still eat and drinking and pooping!
They are so adorable and so tiny! standing next to my 10 week old.

Really looking forward to the photo a day and names!!
