I finally have three pips!!!!

I set them on Saturday June 2. So now I am not wanting to get dressed and go work on setting poles....I want to stay inside and watch my babies hatch.

Three babies is what I got out of the four. One had died in the shell, looks like about day two during lock down, darn, it was a showgirl too.
I have one Silkie that is striving to thrive, and the two others are showgirls, and one looks to be a buff color! Yaaay! Not a white. One is white, and is the lovy one. Comes running to the hand. Cute all right.

I really want some showgirls. I currently have NN in my flocks and some silkie and possible showgirl eggs in my other incubator.

That bring the egg total to 383 I think, lol my next hach day is Wed.
Everything is already spoken for most yay friend is taking to grow out for projects we are doing and a few are sold. I'm keeping the ilkies to grow out and the sex links.

I had 85 chicks & 34 ducks in the bator set since 6/8 and added another 24 Easter Eggers this morning. I still have 2 dozen Silkies on the way, 12 turkeys, 8 orps & 4 marans going in later this week. Good thing I have another bator on the way that will get here before then. That means I should be able to move all my stacked eggs to it & add the others when they get here. I also have a little styrofoam cooler I think I wanna try to convert. I got a pair of crested layers/pekins at the swap meet yesterday & she gave me an egg already so I will collect a couple of those & set them as well. My Silkies are starting to lay fertile eggs too, so I'll snag a few from my own girls in a couple weeks when some of the others start to hatch. Have a pair of ringneck doves I got at the swap too so waiting on them to start filling their nest & setting too

Found my tri-color mini rex buck a gorgeous blue agouti doe at the swap as well, so I'll have rex babies in about 4 weeks too!!!!

My broody banty is now sitting on her own little baby that's almost 2 weeks old now, a Black East Indie she finished the hatching on & 3 tiny calls I got from the swap that were hatched a day or 2 before the BEI. All babies are very close in size, so she never noticed a difference when I stuffed them under her yesterday when I got home. She's a PRO Momma!!!

AAAAWWWWWW so cute . I want my babies to hatch they are on day 17 I was hopeing they would hatch today

but they are probly gonna wait just long enough to hatch that Im on the virge of a nervous breakdown be for they hatch.

I have babies. 4 are successfully out and about with mama. One is in the house getting some extra attention. one didn't make it

got smashed in the nest.
Overall so far so good.
