Day 18 for me here. I just put mine in lockdown. I really hoped I would hear something from them, but all is quiet. Please, little babies, hope you are okay.

Today is day 20 for me as well. I got nothing no movement no peeping. Hoping all is ok

Day 22 for me and had my 1st pip when I woke up this am. Sittin at work (and obviously not working since I'm on this site!) wondering what's goin on at home in the bator. Gonna be a LOOONNNGGG day!

OMG....I went home at lunch to check on the eggs in the bator and I heard chirping!!!! Yes, chirping. I almost cried. Still no pips though and some of eggs were moving a bit! I just about didn't come back to work!

I have bad news on my first hatch The first one that hatched was doing fine when I left for the weekend My sister got here an hour after I left and it had managed to get through the grate blocking off the water and drowned then then power went out don't know why, someone must have hit a pole. My sister left when she came back power had cut back on and the humidity was 80% and another one piped but died and I don't know why. It didn't even get out of the shell it just completely zipped it and that was it. When I got on sunday I got the humidity back down and removed the 2 dead chicks but since then there has been nothing no movement of the eggs and no sounds. I think it is a complete lost. i don't know what I am going to do. I will give it a few days since today at 5:30 will have been 21 days, but i am nor going to hold my breath though(even though I am still hoping for a miracle). I guess I am the only one to blame maybe If i had planned better so I would have been here I could have controlled the humidity.

So sorry for your loss....

I wouldn't take them out yet. Leave them in there for a few more days.

Bigchris Give them atleast 3 more days! I had a big storm front come through around lock down and after talking to several others I think that the change in barrometric pressure does something. We all had delayed hatches after having a storm front come through. I don't know if it is true or not but it does seem to happen alot. If the power went out and the temp dropped it may delay hatch a few days. Wishing you all the best!
