I've not been having much luck with my hatching, but have managed 2 white rock-australorp crosses, 2 white rocks, 1 bantam cochin, 1 black copper Marans, and 1 white silkie in the last few days.

I think I have my incubator situation corrected now, so hopefully the next hatch will be better.

Thats better than me. I dont know what happened but I only got one GLWxBB to hatch out of 12 eggs. The rest just quit.

Last night about 8 pm I had a pip.....I watched it till midnight and no change. When I got up this morning I went into the basement and the one that was pipped last night had hatched. WOOHOO....my first hatch. I have another one that has pipped. I'm gonna run back home in a while and see if it is dry so I can put it in the brooder. I'll try and take some pics so I can show you guys!

I woke up this morning and twice while sitting in bed I heard chirping,,,lmao but now I am wondering if my ears were playing tricks on me and the chirping was coming from outside.

Ok....How long can they stay in the bator after they hatch? Today is Day 21 and this is my first hatch.

They can stay in there for up to 3 days but I usually wait until they are atleast 24-48 hrs before taking them out. If you have a spray bottle, fill it with warm water and when you are ready to take them out do it quick and give a quick spray of water into the bator.

UPDATE,,,I have now had my coffee and am fully awake LOL. The chirping is definately coming from inside the bator. Wahooooo at least I know some are alive. Cmon out chickies. I got your brooder waiting for you!!
