I donate them to our local thrift shop/food bank. At one time, I tried feeding them to our dogs but it turned out they were allergic.

I love the thought of freezing them but at that rate, you'll need quite a few freezers.

Deviled eggs, pickled eggs, fried eggs mixed with mashed potatoes, german pancakes, quiches, over easy, cookies, cakes. After all those we still have no problem selling extras. Try the schools that sounds like a good idea. Or soup kitchen. Good luck.

Are they fertile? If yes, do you just have one breed? Check out the price of fertile eggs on ebay, the final selling prices, not the opening bids. Also, you can sell them in the sale section right here on BYC. If they're fertile but mixed breed, you can still sell fertile mutt eggs, just not for as much as the known breed eggs.

I've given eggs to the local battered women's shelter, they were delighted to have them. Food bank. Soup kitchens. Give bags of hard boiled eggs out to homeless people. (that's a good idea, whoever said feed them to homeless people) Feed back to the hens.

If you work, or anybody else in the house does, have them ask co-workers if they'd like to buy them. Start by asking folks at work to save their cartons for you, tell them you have chickens. See how many ask if you sell eggs. Say yes. Name a price. I'm currently getting $2 a dozen from neighbors, $3 for the ones I take into the big city (I live in the sticks, it's 75 miles to the big city. 30 miles to a smaller town where we usually shop. There's a little town only 6 miles away, if we just need one or two things, but there's not much there, major shopping we do in town, it's a lot cheaper) twice a month when I go to see friends. They take orders for me from their friends and neighbors.
