Frill let Tanis takeover flying for the both of them for a few moments, attempting to get herself airborne again after the breather.
"Yesss.., N-no, I have information... Camilla, she needs to hear it."

Though curious, Tanis didn't press the subject. Knowing that Frill was proud she didn't attempt to take over flying again unless Frill needed it. Instead she flew silently alongside the wounded dragoness, occasionally steering her towards an easier path until they came within sight of the city.

Behind them, Belial was following soundlessly. He didn't mean to "stalk" them, or freak them out. He just didn't announce that he was coming along, or make his presense obvious. With any luck he would hear what this "information" was that was so important.

Alistair took the lead as him, Maggie and Dread headed towards the spot where Henry and Charlotte had been attacked. It was surprisingly close to the city for such an attack to go unnoticed as long as it had. As they flew, it began increasingly obvious that Maggie was sensing something unnusual. Her muscles tensed up and her eyes darted through the sky like she was expecting something to jump out at them. Alistair glanced back once at her, but knowing her abilities, said nothing.

Odd scent. Lol!
She turned calmly. "I've been waiting for you."

Better than her smelly smell. :p

Silvanus let his breath hiss from his closed lips as he ambled over.
"Up until a moment ago I was simply going to report you and perhaps let Lilith have some fun. But, your worthless life may have just found itself a purpose, however insignificant."
He continued to walk as he talked, eyes contemplative, "I have certain menial tasks that I care not do myself, etcetera. If I deem you worthy after completion of said tasks you may proceed with with a possible promotion; if you fail, I kill you and carve you like a fish. Easy? If you want even a slim chance at being my - or anyone's- apprentice, I will not make it easy. Or enjoyable."

Once in sight, Frill's strokes became slightly wilder, if not more energized. Just a little bit more... Just a few more minutes.
She was unaware of Tanis' position, although she could hear her wing beats; she had to keep focus on Pelendava.

:D ....

Dread glanced between Maggie and Alistair, bewildered.
He could smell the blood from here and it set him on edge. Having never been a warrior, he was rarely exposed to blood, let alone bodies.
This could become interesting. And not in a good way.

A low growl rumbled through her lips. " Failing just isn't something I do. Ever. "
She puffed herself up a bit and approached him slowly. Her eyes assessed his reactions, and demeanor.
" i'll do it " she rumbled at last.

Having noticed Maggie's discomfort, Alistair also noticed Dread's. He wasn't sure why Camilla had sent him along with them, he was a civilian, not a warrior... and the 'crime scene' wasn't something for the faint hearted, even with the body removed. The only conclusion he could come to was that Camilla wanted a pair of eyes not tainted by warrior training, maybe he could pick up on something that they had overlooked before. He doubted it though. Regardless though, he respected Dread enough to understand his discomfort. Since Maggie wasn't paying much attention to them, he let her take the lead and dropped back beside Dread. The scent of the blood would lead her to the place, he knew. Without saying anything, he made eye contact with Dread to say: Don't worry, we have your back.

Slowly, Tanis led her downwards until they were nearly at the High Guard. Instead of directing her to the stone steps, she held back slightly to land on the grass... just in case Frill stumbled. A few curious stares were directed at her, slowly turning anxious as they realized she was injured. Was it another attack?
