Jester headed back to Caronia, his long, leathery black wings carrying him effortlessly through the air. As he neared his home, he noticed a much smaller dragoness heading over to join him. Sighing inwardly, he kept flying.
"Where have you been, Jester?" Lilith asked, flying slightly above him to avoid his churning wings.
"Oh... here and there." He cracked a grin, falling easily back into the routine after his visit with Frill.
"Here and there?" She cocked a brow, knowing that he was lying but not bothering to press the subject.
Frill circled Pelendava, bored and a little on edge after Jester's showing.
She glided with the currents, around and around. Eyes glancing between the beginning sunset and a small flock of blackbirds fading into the distance.
Samuel stood on the edge of a cliff, looking down onto the city. He ruffled his stiff wings slightly, wishing they were as useful to him now as they used to be.
