At the very peak of the mountain, hidden away in Tenebrae's previous den in the heart of Caronia, Jester sat vigil beside his dead leaders body. Unlike many, he knew, he was deeply saddened by the great warrior's passing. Tenebrae was the one who had brought him in as an exil from Pelendava and eventually made him his second in command. Everything he had in Caronia, was because of him. They had always been close, well, as close as an evil dictator and his second in command could be. And despite his temporarily divided loyalties, where Frill had come in between him Caronia, he had always maintained a large amount of respect and loyalty towards his leader.
So here he sat, mourning silently beside the body of his mentor... and friend.
Silvanus's tongue was lolling by the time he reached the edge of the peak, his eyes sparkling.
Although the air was chilled, he was baking. The long hike had turned his body into a furnace with it's often treacherous terrain.
Rather exhilarating in all, not that he planned to be doing it again any time soon.
*Describes the peak in great detail, etc, etc.

Sticks and stones.... Where are your bones?
Christina sank back to a sitting position, her shoulders hunched. She was so confused, she couldn't think... she could hardly move. Vaguely, in the back of her mind she could remember small bits about the attack, but it was so foggy that she didn't know if it was a dream or reality.
Voo rummaged through her shelves with reckless haste.
Bottles clinked and herbs flew as she proceeded to nab what she needed. So unorganized! Horsetail, some sort of antibiotic, a jar of water.
She dumped her stash into the large mortar that sat at the end of her workspace and gave it a few good pounds. It wasn't exactly her best work, but she doubted the dragoness would care.
Grabbing another roll of wrappings she fled her den, returning to the others and offering Christina the stone bowl.
"Here, Just take a few sips." She said gently, putting it to her lips.
