I haven't...where do you get it? I have also heard turmeric? I just got through vaccinating my whole flock. late, most are adults but I figure it cant hurt. and once that takes, I figure I don't have to keep her separated if she starts to go into remission. and I now have the vaccine to use on any chicks that happen to happen. I broke it up into 4 doses like I have read you can do.

My bathtub girl hasn't gotten any better, but not worse either. I just sent off some of her blood to Texas A&M to get tested. They were by far cheaper than anyone more local to me and DH graduated from there, so...it was $25 to test and $25 to ship. but then I will know for sure.

if I can get someone to help me get blood samples from my whole flock, I might just use them for my MG testing, too! their prices weren't bad and they don't have a mimimum charge.

I now know exactly how many chickens I have: 64. but many of those are males who I will not be keeping through the winter. (sorry fellas!)

Girls can you help me?? For those that know my hatching record this year you know Ive had the most pathetic turn out;( this has never happened to me...is it possible that if the temps of the bator were super low the first week or so the chicks WILL actually hatch out a week later?? My 6 eggs were due on the 6th...nothing!!! So today is day 24 i cracked one open a tiny bit and used a flashlight to spy through the tiny hole!! A live moving chick!! I put a small piece of tape over the hole...moved onto the next egg...same thing!!! I never touched the other 4 for fear of really screwing this up but seriously...this has happened to me ever since I started hatching this year...what does hatch ...90% roos if it werent for CPL sending me female CCL chicks With some roos Id have hardly any females!!!

I'd get a brinsea spot check and use it. I am recalubrating every Month now . Rooster chicks IMO are hardier in the egg. The worse the hatch, the more roosters.

Keep an eye on those peeping chicks! They might need help later . Late chicks don't always have enough energy to get out.

I don't know what to say...except I have had the WORST hatches ever this year. I have put 100s of swap eggs and purchased eggs in and literally have either nothing or mixed breed junk to show for it. Some develop and quit at lock down. I am absolutely disgusted by the whole thing ! Such a waste of time and money. !!!!!

I don't mean to bring this up here.....but please know it is not only you. At that is the last I will say about it.

Ugh Im so sorry;( It really does suck...I guess the most frustrating is all the swap eggs Ive lost and money like you! And many other folks too! I guess ill be shipping my bators to brinsea;( i have tested and retested thinking Ive got things under control...then I lose a whole bator full again! well...at least my broody SLB hatched out 4/4 BBS marans today! I only threw those under her for my own fertility test because someone accused me of having non fertile eggs after shipping;( and am just at such a loss;( SIGGGGHHHHHH Ill get over it..eventually...i helped the two stuck chicks and they are needing to be put down Deformed....

I can hatch my own by the buttload.... But i don't NEED mine, I WANT other breeds or line.. Ugh !!

I here yah! I did not need more Bbs marans either ! I just shoved Tolbunts and brahmas under another broody to see whats happening!

Good Lord! I went to go figure out what i was doing with those two chicks when all of a sudden one hatched all on its own! Yippy 1-100!!! Lol

I would advise checking humidity, if the eggs were in there that long they should be dried out quite a bit by now.

I have always had good service out of the post office but, now I have 2 gripes on the same week! I got chicks from Crazypetlady that shipped on Thursday, they were shipped express/next day- well, finally, this morning received them from the post office. Madamwlf sent eggs to me on Wed- they always get to me by friday- checked on the Sat night and they were leaving Puerto Rico! They had been shipped from Maryland to Puerto Rico and now they are being sent back to me. Somehow... I don't think those eggs will be hatching, if they do they will be little miracles.
