Yes I agree we are holding on to 4 extra bantam choco Orp roosters. They are just to cute. We are thinking of using one for a project or 2. They make such cute lawn decorations. We have our original GFF trio of breeders then we had hatched 5 of 12 eggs from GFF before we bought them and 4 of the 5 lived and they were all roosters.
( I completely understand tho because they are living in a huge plastic ware in my kitchen.... I bring them outside a lot and have a kiddie pool for them but they just stand by my sliding door and chirp to come back in. I live in a residential dubdivision in Michigan and I'm surprised none of my neighbors haven't called our sub association on me yet. I did the almighty crime of buying an animal that I couldn't completely commit too... And I usually no better but I bought them for my mothers pond thinking I could keep them till they feathered and after reading stuff online..... I would feel much to guilty leaving them out there exposed to all the elements and not having a place at night to b enclosed....she lives in a condo so it isn't just her pond.... I feel like such an idiot for buying them. I put an add on Craigslist but everyone that called seem unqualified to give them a proper home... I few people wanted to eat them
