I was watching my turkeys for a while today and I noticed that so e of the hens will go pick on an literally beat the snot out of some of the toms. If the Tom fights back they squat for him. If not they hen peck him so bad he will come stick his head in my lap to be protected. I wonder if that's what Phyllis does? She beats the crud out of them unless they are Tom enough to take her on. Merry is my worst. She beats up everyone but Frankie. She tries to bully him but he just smacks her with his wing and then keeps his wing on her.
