Woke up with the worst headache and sore throat! My head in throbbing and my throat hurts so bad. Put a whole chicken in my big soup pot as soon as I got home from dropping my son off at preschool. Now will let that cook and make the noodles while the daycare kids nap. I love chicken noodle soup, but this is the worst headachethe good news is I can use up the broccoli and some collards from the garden in the soup.![]()
That just aint right. My beloved likes his wimmin a little rubenesque so I had to make sure he understood the potential of this surgery. It will NEVER be that ^^^!With me its loose 10 gain 20 loose 20 gain 40.... my biggest mistake was believing the hype about being thin. I was 22 and 135 and thought I was fat... started dieting.... I went to high school when Twiggy was the hype.

I agree with both sentiments@perchie.girl
You are a horse person. This guy showed up in our yard this morning. He's so gentle. We've been unable to locate it's owners so far. The sheriff's department is looking as well. What do I need to do if he's with us a few days? I don't really "know" horses.
Oh the little girl on me is going, "can we keep him?" And the adult in me is going, "
Are you insane?"![]()
First, be very careful with that rope around his neck. I don't even like to tie a horse with a halter, but a rope around the neck is really dangerous. Second, don't feed him much. Horses will colic and could die if fed too much of something that they are not used to. Too much is very little. It would be safeest to only feed him grass and hay. If you must give him a prepared feed, stick to only a handful at a time, with an hour between, for several days. Horses are the reason "Murphey's Law" was written. Next, try to locate someone in your area that has horses, and ask for the name and number of the local farriers (horse shoers) and call them. They are the ones that know all the horses and who owns them. You may also see if there is a boarding stable or nearby land owner that will let you rent a stall/paddock/pasture by the day until you know more.@perchie.girl

I trust your spoon more than I trust O Wise One's soda straw! Just get better quick...it's miserable to be sick!
First, find a stall/paddock/pasture to put him in, that rope around his head is dangerous. Even with a halter, a horse can't be tied overnight.@perchie.girl

Good idea about places to call.... Farriers is a very good bet. though here there are at least a hundred.... Posting pictures at the feed stores also.
I would not feed anything but grass or baled bermuda. And I have seen horses quite successfully tied overnight. The best way is to string a picket line between two trees. about six feet high. Tie the horse to that in the middle with enough rope so he/she can lay down. Which means when they lay down the rope does not touch the ground.
It takes a knowledgeable person to set it up.
We used to do overnight trail rides riding out from the barn to a grove of trees on Miramar land. There the trucks would have brought our gear and the picket lines strung. Most horses wont lie down on a picket... some do though. The whole boarding stable would go.... we are talking about at least 25 horses.
